I write the code

Family shops and small teams keep a site for years. I write it so someone can still read it.
My path wasn't a straight CS degree poster. In college I took coursework in criminal justice, counterterrorism, and computer science, studying under former military intelligence and law enforcement instructors. Security was taught as something you do, not something you read about once on a slide.
Later I learned from Doug Geer, a computer engineer who had worked at IBM. The systems he talked about were built to run for ages without drama. That kind of reliability sticks with you when you build for the web.
I also spent time in utility operations, hands on with live power. Few environments make precision and safety feel as immediate.
I bring the same habits to this work. Care around risk. Clear talk. No extra machinery for show. Ferrieri Forge is the site. The work is websites for people and small teams who do not want a template full of fake copy.
