I write websites. Usually Next.js. I keep hosting simple. Here is how a job runs, what the first call covers, and what helps me quote.

I write clear code, say the tradeoffs in plain language, and keep the date I gave you. If you need a long spec before a hello, I am probably not the right fit.
I work well with trades and small teams. If an agency vanished after launch, we can build something you can still open next year.

What happens on a first call
- You share the goal: launch, redesign, new offer, or funnel. Links to anything you have today help.
- We align on scope: pages, integrations (forms, analytics, booking tools), and which parts of what I take on fit you best.
- You get a clear proposal: timeline, price, and what "done" looks like. No pressure to say yes on the spot.

Do I need to be in the Hudson Valley to work with you?
No. I work with clients nationwide, and most projects run fine fully remote. I'm based in the Hudson Valley and work closely with businesses here when it helps—but you don't have to be local.
Do you work with clients in Poughkeepsie and Dutchess County?
Yes. I partner closely with Hudson Valley businesses, including Poughkeepsie and Dutchess County, on custom websites—alongside clients elsewhere in the U.S.

Yes. I build sites for trades, family shops, and small teams. Quote pages and a clear way to reach you. No template pile. Anywhere in the country.

Do I pay before we talk?
No. The first conversation is to see if we're a match. A short list of services is on the home page; I'll confirm details before any invoice.
What stack do you use?
Usually Next.js and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel unless you have another host in mind. I'll recommend the simplest setup that meets your goals.
I'm not sure what I need yet
That's normal. Tell me what you're trying to ship and I'll suggest a scope and a quote that fits — lean launch or something bigger.
How fast do you respond?
I aim for within 24 hours on new inquiries, often faster.

Can you harden encryption for sensitive data on my site?

I can lock private data in the site so a stolen copy is still unreadable without the key.

What if my app needs to work with no internet, but private info still has to stay safe?
The app can keep saving what it needs right on the phone or laptop, so spotty service isn't a dealbreaker. That stored info can be locked up so a lost or stolen device doesn't mean a stranger can read your customer details or private notes. Typical fits: crews in the field, reporters on the move, anyone who spends time off the grid.
Can you hide how my tool works so competitors can't easily steal it?
I can shield the parts that matter: pricing rules, special formulas, the quirks that make your product yours. On the web, nothing is 100% copy-proof, but we can put real friction in the way of someone cloning your edge. Typical fits: custom quote builders, member pricing, any tool where your advantage is the math behind the scenes.
